Family Suite at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort

At the tail end of February 2020, just before the world shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, I went to Orlando with some of my colleagues to attend a training event at the Universal Orlando Resort. We stayed in a Family Suite at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort.

Whenever I stay at a new property, I take a couple of minutes to tour the room, so I can share it with my clients and social media channels.

This room category is ideal for families, with many features moms and dads (and kids) will appreciate.

Features of the Family Suite at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort

  • kitchenette with lots of storage
  • breakfast bar
  • pocket door to separate bedroom from common space
  • split bathroom with plenty of additional storage
  • walk-in closet
  • wall-mounted television

Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort is Ideal for Families

Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort has seven places where you can grab something to eat. There are a ton of recreational activities, including bowling, an arcade, lazy river and a pool with a slide. You can rent a private cabana for your family’s pool day, and enjoy exclusive access to Universal’s Volcano Bay water park, located right next door.

Some room categories include a breathtaking view of Universal’s Volcano Bay water park. The cost to upgrade to this view, in many cases, is nominal.

Here is the tour video I created that day to show you all of the perks of the Family Suite at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Although this video doesn’t include a full resort tour, I hope you’ll find it useful when choosing a hotel to stay at during your next vacation to the Universal Orlando Resort.
