At Pure Magic Vacations, we are so excited for all of our clients to visit the brand new theme park coming to Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Epic Universe. Of course, we’re also excited to visit ourselves and experience all of the new attractions, shows, food and more. Before any of us can visit, though, it’s important to understand the various ticket types that are available to guests as Universal Epic Universe prepares to welcome guests.

Universal Epic Universe will officially open its doors on May 22, 2025. Select multi-day tickets and vacation packages will be available to book beginning October 22, 2024. This will include the new hotel, Universal Helios Grand Hotel.

Important Things to Know About Universal Epic Universe Tickets

• At first, only date-specific tickets will be available, which means you will not be able to purchase “Anytime” tickets that include a visit to Universal Epic Universe.
• Universal Epic Universe tickets will launch with multi-day tickets of three or more days with a 1-day limit for your visit to the new park.
• Single and multi-day tickets for the new park will be phased in at at later date, depending on availability. See below for an exception to this, for Universal Annual Passholders.
• Universal Epic Universe is considered a full-day experience, so it will not be included in park-to-park access upon opening.

Universal Orlando Resort Ticket Types

The best way to help you understand the types of tickets available is to provide them in a list. If you’ve purchased tickets for Universal Orlando Resort in the past, then the list below will be somewhat familiar to you.

A 3-park ticket includes admission to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay water park. A park-to-park ticket allows you to ride Hogwart’s Express, and allows you to move freely between all three parks, while a base ticket allows you entry into ONE of the three parks each day. Universal Epic Universe is a one-day add-on to either of these.

Questions and Answers

When can I buy single day tickets for Universal Epic Universe?

Single day tickets for the general public for Universal Epic Universe will be launched at a later date. Annual passholders will be able to purchase single day add-on tickets beginning October 24, 2024.

What if I already bought tickets for Universal Orlando Resort and they don’t include Universal Epic Universe?

As long as your tickets haven’t been used yet, you can call your travel advisor to cancel and rebook your new tickets to include Universal Epic Universe (as described above) at the prevailing rate.

Will Universal Express Pass be available at Universal Epic Universe?

Is Early Park Admission available at Universal Epic Universe?

We have not yet heard specific details about this benefit as it pertains to the new park. Check back for further details.
