How to Transfer a Disney Reservation to a Travel Agent (Within 30 Days)
(Last updated March 2026 to reflect current Disney reservation transfer policies.)
Booked your Disney vacation directly…and now feeling a little overwhelmed?
You’re not alone.
Many families reserve their Walt Disney World, Disneyland or Disney Cruise Line vacation online, only to realize later how much planning is involved.
The good news?
If you booked within the last 30 days, you can transfer your Disney reservation to a travel agent at no cost. That means you can keep your reservation, keep your payments and gain professional planning support. Let me explain how it works.
Can You Transfer a Disney Reservation to a Travel Agent?
Yes! If you booked your vacation within the past 30 days, you can add professional planning support to your existing Disney reservation for the following destinations, provided the booking was made directly with Disney:
- Walt Disney World Resort
- Disneyland Resort
- Disney Cruise Line
- Adventures By Disney
- Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa
Why Families Choose to Transfer Their Disney Reservation to Me

I’m a Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) who works under Pure Magic Vacations, a Platinum EarMarked by Disney Authorized Travel Agency. That means you receive the support of an experienced advisor, backed by one of Canada’s top-performing Disney-focused agencies.
Here’s what changes when you transfer your booking:
- I monitor price reductions and apply eligible promotions when available
- I share a custom planning timeline so you never miss key booking windows
- I explain Lightning Lane strategy in clear, practical terms
- I recommend dining that fits your family’s pace and preferences
- I coordinate airport transfers and resort logistics
- I become your direct point of contact — no call centres
There is no fee to transfer your reservation.
What happens to my payment if I transfer my reservation?
Any payments you’ve made toward your Disney vacation will come along with the booking over to me. Nothing in that regard will change. Going forward, when you’re ready to make another payment toward your vacation, just reach out and I’ll take care of that task on your behalf. I’ll remind you of your final payment deadline and provide you with an invoice from Pure Magic Vacations.
Will Anything Change If I Transfer?
No.
Your reservation number stays the same.
Your payments stay attached to your booking.
Your pricing stays exactly as it is.
The only difference is that you now have a professional advisor managing your vacation.
When Should I Transfer?
As soon as possible.
Disney only allows reservations booked within the past 30 days to be transferred. Once that window closes, Disney will not approve a transfer.
If you’re within that timeframe, it’s worth taking a moment to secure planning support now.
