Should I stay at Universal’s Aventura Hotel?

This hotel is ideal for couples or girls’ getaways. Guests who enjoy technological features will also appreciate staying at this hotel, since it features high-tech amenities such as an in-room table for controlling lights and temperature, and ordering pizza! Although families may enjoy staying at this hotel, it’s not the first property I think of when recommending a family-friendly hotel on site at Universal Orlando Resort.

Guests who plan to spend time at Universal’s Volcano Bay water park will also appreciate the proximity of this hotel to the water park, since it is within walking distance. Signage on property will help guide guests to the water park itself.

Transportation and Dining Options

Transportation to the Universal Orlando Resort theme parks and Universal CityWalk is by shuttle bus, although guests can also walk to Universal’s Volcano Bay water park.

Water Taxi or Walking Trail?

This resort is next door to Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, so it’s very easy for guests to walk over to this neighbouring hotel to use the water taxi service over to Universal CityWalk, for access to both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. I always enjoy a water taxi more than riding on a bus, so although the water taxi doesn’t leave directly from Universal’s Aventura Hotel, the use of a water taxi is still present. SImply enter the lobby of Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and take the spiral staircase down to the dock.

Guests can also walk from Universal’s Aventura Hotel to the theme parks by following the same directions to the water taxi dock, then using the walking trail to get to the parks. The walk is about fifteen to twenty minutes, and it’s a picturesque walking trail on the water, with plenty of tropical plants. You’ll walk right past Loews Royal Pacific Resort, as well. It’s always nice to see another hotel so you can start planning your next visit!

Dining options include sit-down or counter service restaurants. Guests may easily visit Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort or Loews Sapphire Falls Resort nearby for additional dining options. Urban Pantry has some really great food, and the Starbucks in the lobby here is often much less busy than one over at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort.
