Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort: Step into Disney Movie Magic!

Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is a family-friendly value resort hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Each section of the hotel pays tribute to a different classic Disney film. In this post, you’ll find out whether this property is a good fit for you and your travel party during your next vacation.

At Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, iconic Disney films leap off the screen and come to life around you! As you explore the resort grounds, you and your family will find yourselves looking up at giant Dalmations, colossal Toy Story characters and larger-than-life Fantasia-themed spectacles.

Why should you stay at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort?

This resort is an excellent choice for:

  • families with young children
  • “theme park warriors” or those who will spend the majority of their time in the theme parks, then need a comfortable place on property to crash at the end of the night
  • guests on a budget
  • families of four or less

Transportation and Dining Options

Transportation to Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs is by shuttle bus only, with clearly marked stops located at the front of the resort.

Dining is quick service only in a cafeteria-style restaurant at the World Premiere Food Court, just off the lobby. Guests can also order room service from a limited menu, or enjoy a cocktail at the Silver Screen Spirits Pool Bar.

Choosing a Room Category

Recently refurbished rooms have one queen-sized bed and one queen-sized table-style Murphy bed, and sleep up to 4 guests.

Each room at Disney’s All-star Movies Resort has a queen-sized bed.

All rooms include a small kitchenette area with a coffee maker and bar fridge. There are no microwaves in these rooms, which open directly to the outside and do not feature a balcony or patio for guests to use.

Standard Rooms will have views of the courtyard, pool or parking area, while Preferred Rooms will have a similar view, but will be situated close to Cinema Hall, dining, shopping and transportation.

Resort Features and Amenities

This resort has two swimming pools for guests to enjoy. The feature pool is called the Fantasia Pool. From January to April of 2024, the Fantasia Pool will be closed for routine maintenance. During that time, guests of the hotel might see or hear construction work during daytime hours. As an alternative, guests can swim in the other pool located in the Mighty Ducks section of the resort, the Duck Pond Pool.
