Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is a moderate resort hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. This Southwest and Spanish-themed resort has three villages, plus the beautiful new Gran Destino Tower hotel to choose from. The closest theme park to this resort is Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There are many room categories to choose from at this resort, including suites that accommodate from 4 to 8 adults.

Should I Stay at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort?

This resort has a lot of amenities, with beautiful grounds and decor, making it feel more like a deluxe resort, with moderate pricing.

Because this resort is also a convention hotel, its grounds are sprawling, which means guests often need to walk a little bit more to get around, or use the bus service that connects the various sections of the resort. However, the convention center itself is situated away from the main hotel, and does not interfere with the enjoyment of the resort whatsoever. In fact, its status as a convention center is what gives this resort so many added features.

Guests may request a Preferred Room in the Casitas village or Gran Destino Tower in order to be closer to the El Centro, the main dining and shopping areas of the resort. A new bridge system more easily connects the various sections of the resort to the main pool and recreation area known as the Dig Site.

For those who appreciate a little bit of luxury, Club Level accommodations are available.
