DreamWorks Land Opening This Summer at Universal Orlando Resort
Today, Universal Orlando Resort made an announcement that will make your family’s vacation even more magical: DreamWorks Land will open its doors this summer! The new land will bring our favourite DreamWorks characters and stories to life in new ways.
Immersive Attractions and Rides at DreamWorks Land
DreamWorks Land will feature a lineup of attractions and rides that will transport you and your family into th eheart of DreamWorks’ most beloved tales. Imagine soaring with dragons, racing through faraway lands, and embarking on unforgettable adventures with your heroes Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and more!
First up is Troll’s Trollercoaster–“Hop onto the caterpillar Caterbus on this family-friendly coaster. You’ll join Poppy, Tiny and the twins Satin and Chenille as you try to make an escape from spooky spiders.” (Descriptions from Universal Orlando Resort.)
Interactive Experiences
Not only will guests enjoy thrilling rides, but DreamWorks Land will also offer interactive experiences to engage everyone in the family. You’ll also be able to attend meet-and-greets with your favourite DreamWorks characters.
Po Live!–“Meet and talk with Po on a digital animated screen. He’ll train you in the ways of kung fu while babysitting his mischievous baby cousin and cooking some delicious snacks. Skadoosh!”
Shrek’s Swamp Meet–“Now’s your chance to meet Shrek, Fiona and Donkey outside Shrek’s cottage.”
Dining and Shopping
No adventure is complete with treasures and treats! DreamWorks Land will have themed dining experiences and shops filled with themed, exclusive merchandise. Whether you’re craving a dragon-sized meal or searching for the perfect souvenir, you’ll find it here. New dining locations will include Swamp Snacks and Troll Treats, with a new shop called High Five Hideaway nearby.
