Calling all fans of ghoulish gatherings! Disneyland Resort’s Halloween season is back, running from August 23 through October 31, 2024. Additionally, Plaza de la Familia will extend the celebrations through November 2, 2024. Here are the highlights you won’t want to miss!
Haunted Mansion Holiday Reopens with Virtual Queue
Jack Skellington and the Halloween Town residence will transform the Haunted Mansion into Haunted Mansion Holiday. This fan-favourite attraction will be available via virtual queue only, ensuring a smooth experiece for guests. Don’t miss the new ghoulish gingerbread creation in the dining room!
New Fall Looks for Mickey Mouse and Friends During Halloween at Disneyland Resort
Mickey, Minnie, and friends will be dressed in new festive attire featuring skeleton inspirations and colourful patchwork patterns. Guests will be able to pose for a photo with them at Disneyland Park to capture the Halloween magic.
“Mickey’s Trick and Treat” Show
For the first time ever, “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” show will be a daily offering during the Halloween season at Disney California Adventure Park. Join Mickey and Minnie for a not-so-spooky sing and dance-along with colourful projections and a lively host dressed as a mad scientist.
“Halloween Screams” Nighttime Spectacular
Each night, enjoy “Halloween Screams,” a nighttime spectacular featuring supernatural projections and ghostly special effects. On select nights, the show will include fireworks, adding to the spooky fun.
Season Décor Throughout Disneyland Resort
The Main Street Pumpkin Festival will return, anchored by the iconic Mickey Pumpkin. Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park will be adorned with Halloween motifs, and the Headless Horseman will light the night with his jack-o-lantern head. Festive touches will also be present in the hotels of the Disneyland Resort and in the Downtown Disney District.
Radiator Screams in Cars Land
Cars Land will transform into Radiator Screams with spooky décor and Halloween-themed attractions. Enjoy Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween with family-friendly frights.
Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark
Each evening, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! will become Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark. Help Rocket rescue Groot from menacing monsters in this thrilling overlay.
Tantalizing Seasonal Treats
Dining locations throughout Disneyland Resort will serve up themed treats. Returning favourites include the Halloween funnel cake at Stage Door Café and al pastor tacos inspired by “Coco” at Paradise Garden Grill.
New Halloween Merchandise
Guests will be able to shop for the latest Halloween merchandise, including apparel, accessories, and headwear. Fashions inspired by Pixar’s “Coco” will be perfect for Plaza de la Familia festivities.
Plaza de la Familia Celebrates Día de los Muertos
Plaza de la Familia brings music, vibrant décor, festive foods, and exciting live entertainment to Disney California Adventure Park through November 2, 2024. Enjoy the musical celebration of Pixar’s “Coco” and snap a selfie with Miguel.
Festive Dining at Goofy’s Kitchen and Storytellers Cafe

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
Beginning in September, embark on Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, a fun activity for the whole family. Search for Disney character-themed pumpkins hidden throughout Downtown Disney District, Disneyland, and Disney California Adventure Park.
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party
Oogie Boogie Bash will return with more nights than ever. Guests will enjoy trick-or-treating, the “Frightfully Fun Parade,” Villains Grove, and immersive treat trails featuring favourite villains. Tickets go on sale soon, with limited pre-sales for Magic Key holders starting June 25, 2024.
