The mischievous Minions from Illumination are about to run wild on their own dedicated street at Universal Orlando Resort! Get ready for an awesome, brand new attraction and two Minions-themed restaurants. There’s sure to be epic fun and shenanigans at Illumination’s Minion Lnad, kicking off in Summer 2023!

I’m so happy to hear those construction walls will soon be coming down, and the whole area will be renamed Illumination Avenue in honour of our yellow friends.

Rides and Attractions Coming to Illumination’s Minion Land

As you enter Universal Orlando Resort, one of the main attractions already in place is Despicable Me Minion Mayhem. Soon, guests will be able to enjoy even more Minion fun with several new Minions-themed attractions and dining venues in this park.

Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast–According to Universal Orlando Resort, guests will be able to “[j]oin Illumination’s Minions at Villain-Con and encounter Belle Bottom, Jean Clawed and the rest of the Vicious 6 as you blast your way to supervillain stardom.” This new attraction sounds like a lot of fun!

Minion Café—Universal’s official Minion Land mini-site tells us, “Mischief is always on the menu at Illumination’s Minion Café. The Minions are hard at work whipping up a variety of tasty dishes – while trying not to bring down the entire restaurant in the process.”

Bake My Day–Offerings will include sweet and savory popcorn as well as sweet treats. Doesn’t this location look absolutely adorable?
