New Hotel Categories at Universal Orlando Resort
Universal Orlando Resort has announced a re-categorization of its resort hotels. This change offers fresh resort options, making it easier to choose accommodations that suit your needs and preferences. Here’s a detailed look at the new categories and what they entail.
Value Inn and Suites
The Value category, now known as Value Inn and Suites, will continue to include the popular Universal Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites and Universal Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites along with Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort.
In addition to these, two new hotels will join this category:
- Universal Stella Nova Resort: Opening January 21, 2025, Stella Nova offers a modern, affordable stay for guests seeking budget-friendly accommodations.
- Universal Terra Luna Resort: Opening February 25, 2025, Terra Luna also offers budget-friendly stays with unique themes and amenities.
Prime Value
The Prime Value category will retain Universal Aventura Hotel. Guests appreciate these hotels for their vibrant atmospheres and convenient access to Universal Orlando Resort theme parks. Guests can enjoy a range of amenities, including family suites, pools, and dining options, all within a moderate price range.
Signature
The Signature category now includes former Premier hotels: Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, and Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. Additionally, the new Universal Helios Grand Hotel will join this category, along with Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. Guests enjoy these hotels for their luxurious accommodations, full-service amenities, exceptional dining, immersive theming, and proximity to the theme parks.
Guests staying at Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, and Loews Portofino Bay Hotel will continue to enjoy Universal Express Unlimited as a complimentary benefit, but this perk will not be available at Universal Helios Grand Hotel or Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. This benefit provides guests with unlimited access to shorter lines at participating rides and attractions. This is a valuable perk for those staying at these select hotels.
These new hotel categories should simplify the selection process and help you find the perfect accommodation for your visit. Whether you’re looking for value, convenience, or luxury, these updated categories have something for everyone.
