My family and I are getting back on the road, with our first road trip together in over two years, back to the magic.

We’ll soon be driving from our home in Southern Ontario, Canada to Walt Disney World Resort, and you’re invited to follow along.

I’m sure you must be curious about what it is like to travel from Canada into the United States, and this will be a great chance for you to see what it’s all about.

While the travel requirements vary whether you’re driving or flying to the United States, I’ll be sharing our journey south on social media, and in particular, Instagram Stories.

Throughout our stay in Florida, our family is planning to experience the holidays at Walt Disney World theme parks. My son and my husband also enjoy visiting Kennedy Space Center, and I also plan to pop into Universal Orlando Resort to see the festive decor inside the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Our hotel stays will include:

• Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

To enter the United States by car, our family will need to have our passports and proof of full vaccination against COVID-19. To return to Canada, we will need to have a negative PCR test taken with 72 hours of our return home across the border into Canada, and use the ArriveCAN app to upload our travel plans and documentation.

We plan to follow public health measures, including wearing face masks (which is required indoors at Walt Disney World Resort), hand washing and social distancing. We’re planning lots of time to relax and enjoy the amenities at our hotel together.
