Every resort at Walt Disney World offers a variety of daily activities for guests to enjoy, and Disney’s Riviera Resort is no exception! Whether you enjoy sporty activities or prefer to take it easy with something more relaxing, there are so many different activities for guests to participate in. Guests will receive a copy of Disney’s Riviera Resort Recreation Guide upon check-in.

Disney’s Riviera Resort Recreation Guide Wellness Activities include:

• Shake a Tail Feather–Wednesdays and Saturdays, 8:30 am–Get moving with a fun and engaging family warm up at the Movie Lawn to energize and prepare for a fun-filled day ahead.
• Yoga–Mondays and Fridays, 8:30 am–Begin your morning in a relaxing way at the Movie Lawn with instructor-led yoga.
• Skyliner Rally Scavenger Hunt–Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 11:30 am, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 3:30 pm–Get moving together as a family to follow clues and make memories while you embark on this self-led adventure throughout Disney Skyliner Resorts. Begins at the Eventi Room.
• Athlétique Fitness Center–Open 24 hours–Visit our state-of-the-art fitness centre powered by Technogym! Our equipment will motivate you to keep pushing toward your personal wellness goals.
• Topolino Trot Fun Run ($)–Sundays, 7:30 am–Start your vacation day in a healthy way by joining us for a run full of Disney fun! This 1.2-mile run is perfect for runners at all levels or families wanting to get moving together as you travel around Barefoot Bay. Begins at the Movies Lawn.

On the back of the guide, you’ll find Daily, Evening and Artistry activities.

Artistry activities include:

• Paint your Own Animation Cell ($)–Saturdays, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm–Beginning January 18, experience what it might have been like to be a Disney Ink & Paint artist! Space is limited and available on a first come first serve basis. Located at the Eventi Room.
• Mediterranean Masterpiece ($)–Thursdays, 3:00 pm–Create a magical memento to take home and enjoy for years to come. Located at the Eventi Room.
• Painting on the Riviera ($)–Sundays, 3:00 pm–Unwind while painting a Disney-inspired picture in an instructor-led paint class. Located at the Eventi Room.
• Art Scavenger Hunt–This self-led activity brings to focus the impressive art collection of the Resort. Pick up a clue guide at the Disney Vacation Club Sales Des and embark on a search amongst the arts.

Daily Activities

Riviera Grand Prix–12:00 pm to 1:00 pm–Disney’s Riviera Resort will host the Riviera Grand Prix where Guests of all ages can assemble their own race cars and race them down the Monaco-inspired track at the Activity Lawn.

Lawn Games–10:00 am to 11:00 am–Stop by the Activity Lawn between the pools to play with our giant-sized lawn games! Have fun with jumbo games of Checkers, Connect 4 and Foot Snooker. Chess and Bocce Ball will be available throughout the day.

Opening Regatta–All hands on deck for our morning Regatta race. Thirty minutes prior to the pool opening, crews will assemble at the feature pool to see who has the fastest ship in the Mediterranean. At the culmination of this great race, the pool will open for the day!

Evening Activities

Movie Under the Stars, nightly, 7:00 pm–Enjoy a featured Disney film under the stars at the Movie Lawn

• Tuesday–“Cinderella” (2015)
• Wednesday–“The Hunchback of Notre Dame”
• Thursday–“Peter Pan”
• Friday–“Tangled”
• Saturday–“Beauty and the Beast” (1991)

Campfire, nightly, 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm–Join us for a marshmallow roast around our lakeside fire pit with the option to enhance your experience with a Resort signature treat. ($)

Story Time, nightly, 7:00 pm
Children are invited to gather in the Eventi Room to hear Disney stories from the films that were inspired by European folklore.
