Storybook Dining at Artist Point: A Special Snow White Experience
Storybook Dining at Artist Point is one of the more popular character dining experiences at Walt Disney World these days. Although guests can meet Snow White at Magic Kingdom, it’s not easy to get one-on-one time with Dopey, Grump or the Wicked Queen! I visited Artist Point for dinner last year, and really enjoyed it.

You don’t have to be a guest at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to enjoy dinner at Artist Point. It’s fairly easy to get to this resort for a dinner reservation, no matter where you’re staying. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is located near the Magic Kingdom. From any resort or theme park, guests can take a Disney Transportation bus to Magic Kingdom, then hop on a bus or water taxi to get over to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Disney recommends guests give themselves up to 90 minutes travel time to get to any dining location throughout Walt Disney World property.
If you enter Disney’s Wilderness Lodge through the main lobby, Artist Point is located toward the back of the lobby and to the left. You’ll pass by the Territory Lounge first, then continue down the hall to the restaurant entrance. Reservations are highly recommended for this restaurant, as on-site guests may reserve here up to 60 days in advance.
Storybook Dining at Artist Point–Menu
The menu for Storybook Dining at Artist Point has a theme based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Appetizers are shared rather than individual. There are seven different entrées to choose from, followed by shared desserts for the table. I like the shared appetizers and desserts because it means I don’t have to choose just one of each! There is also a children’s menu for guests under the age of ten.
There are non-alcoholic specialty drinks like the “Stone Fruit and Berry Breeze” and Wickedly Refreshing Cocktails such as “A Brew of Peaches.”
For the main course, most of my friends chose prime rib, but I ordered the gnocchi, which was vegetarian.
Character Interactions
As we waited for our meal to be brought to the table, Snow White, Grumpy and Dopey danced through the restaurant and visited each table for a photo. It’s so hard to stay mad with Grumpy!
After dinner was eaten, dessert was served, and our waiter also brought out The Hunter’s Gift to the Queen. This was a special box filled with caramel popcorn and a chocolate candy heart. Then he said, “As soon as you’ve consumed the heart, you may line up to meet the queen.”
The Queen was absolutely the highlight of this character dining experience, and she stayed in character completely the entire time. She was highly entertaining!
