Bookings for the Disney Wish will be available to the general public beginning May 27, 2021. The maiden voyage will take place June 9, 2022, with a five-night sailing to Nassau, Bahamas and Castaway Cay. The inaugural season will include 3- and 4-night sailings out of Port Canaveral, Florida.

What did we learn about the Disney Wish cruise ship today?

  • Captain Minnie will have a prominent place, with her likeness featured on the bow of the ship.
  • When guests board the Disney Wish, they’ll enter a three-storey atrium called the Grand Hall, their castle on the seas. The Grand Hall will have a Cinderella theme, with enchantment everywhere including a giant wishing star on the atrium chandelier. A bronze statue of Cinderella will be prominently featured in this space.

Upper Deck

A brand new attraction called the AquaMouse will be based on the Mickey shorts, with a rich storyline, lighting, show scene. An animated short called “Scuba Scramble” will take Mickey and pals on an Adventure to Mermaid Lagoon via their Port Misadventures Excursion company. The AquaMouse is a thrilling water ride, 760 ft. around the upper deck of the ship!

The upper deck will also feature a dedicated space for adults at the aft of the ship (see below for more), and a Toy Story Splash Zone, where kids can splash with Buzz, Woody and the gang.

Spaces for Kids

A reimagined Disney’s Oceaneer Club will feature a secret entrance, where kids can slide right in from the Grand Hall (a standard entrance is also available). Children ages 3 to 12 will explore imagineering, train with Marvel superheroes, and immerse themselves in Disney storytelling.

  • Marvel Superhero Academy: Train with your favourite super heroes including Spiderman, Black Panther, Ant Man and the Wasp. Choose a hero suit and put it to the test!
  • Fairytale Hall: Rapunzel’s Art Studio, Anna & Elsa’s Summer House and Belle’s Library are spaces where kids can immerse themselves in their favourite Disney characters.
  • Walt Disney Imagineering Lab: Learn what it takes to make the magic by designing your own Disney rollercoaster and virtually riding it!

Entertainment

Disney Cruise Line always features elaborate Broadway-style musicals, character appearances, and fireworks at sea.

  • The Walt Disney Theatre will again be featured, with design inspired by a magical forest.
  • Musical production will include Aladdin, a Musical Spectacular, with two more original shows being developed, to be revealed at a later date.
  • Three new entertainment concepts for families to “play together and connect” are being developed, including the Grand Hall Stage in the atrium, for fun theatrical surprises, Luna and Hero Zone.

Spaces for Adults

  • Planet hop at Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, where they’ll board a luxury spaceship with panoramic views of Batuu, Tatooine and other Star Wars worlds.

    • Relax in The Rose Lounge for before- or after-dinner cocktails.
    • Have dinner at Palo Steakhouse, inspired by Cogsworth, an Italian dining and modern steakhouse.
    • Choose Enchanté, a fine dining restaurant inspired by Lumière.
  • Also for adults only, the Quiet Cove retreat on the upper deck will include an infinity pool.

Staterooms

  • Staterooms on board the Disney Wish cruise ship will have a new look, with custom artwork and elegant details inspired by Cinderella and other stories.
  • These staterooms will have a luxurious feel, with plenty of storage, upscale amenities and family-friendly features.
  • There will be an expanded concierge experience, with more premium accommodation options than the other Disney Cruise Line ships.
  • For the first time ever, a two-storey Royal Suite will be available, with a grand spiral staircase, stained glass and ocean views.

Family Restaurants

Three new restaurant concepts were revealed:

  • Arendelle, a Frozen Dining Experience, where favourite characters from Frozen will perform during the meal, including a theatrical dining experience with Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf. Cuisine here will be infused with Nordic influences.
