Should I Stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort?
Families with more than two children will find this resort ideal, since it offers rooms that can accommodate up to six. This is also a terrific choice for multi-generational families, since the Family Suite provides some additional space and privacy. Children who love the Disney films, The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, The Lion King or Cars will especially love to stay here. This resort is close to several others, which guests may visit for additional dining options. Many optional daily activities are organized for families to participate in.

Transportation and Dining Options
Get around Walt Disney World theme parks (Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom), water parks and Disney Springs by shuttle bus or Disney Skyliner (Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT).
Dining is quick service only at Landscape of Flavors for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can also order room service from a limited menu. Guests may also wish to enjoy a cocktail at The Drop Off Pool Bar.
Easily use Disney Skyliner to get from Disney’s Art of Animation Resort to either of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort or Disney’s Riviera Resort for additional dining options. They can also walk to Disney’s Pop Century Resort to enjoy a meal at the food court there.
Rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
The Little Mermaid Standard rooms are the furthest away from the entrance of the resort, where buses drop guests off after a day at the theme park. This room category sleeps up to 4 adults, and has either 2 queen beds or 1 king bed.
Family Suites have a separate bedroom with additional ensuite and a kitchenette that includes a microwave, mini-refrigerator and coffee maker. These rooms include 1 queen bed and 1 double-size table bed as well as 1 double-size sleeper sofa, and accommodates up to 6 adults.
Guests can specify which themed Family Suite they want upon booking, or for a slightly lower rate, can wait to be assigned their theme upon check-in.
The Finding Nemo Suites are usually priced a little higher than the Cars or Lion King Family Suites, since they are situated in a preferred location, closer to dining, shopping and transportation.

Features and Amenities
This resort has three swimming pools for guests to enjoy. None of the pools at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort have slides. The feature pool is called the Big Blue Pool, and there are also pools in the Cars and Little Mermaid sections of the resort. The Lion King section of the resort does not have its own pool.
There is a campfire on select nights at the resort, and Movies Under the Stars nightly.
There are also laudry facilities, shopping a jogging trail, playground and arcade for guests to enjoy.
